Aunt Franny’s Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
1-1/2 cups of cracker crumbs (Graham)
1/4 cup of margarine
3 Tablespoons of sugar (refined)
For the Filling
3 packages of cream cheese
1-1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 cup of sugar (granulated)
5 pieces of eggs
For the Topping:
1-1/2 pint of sour cream
1-1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of sugar (refined)
Instructions:
Combine crumbs, margarine, and sugar. Pour onto a 13×9x2 inch baking pan.
Beat cream cheese till smooth. Add the eggs (individually), while beating continuously. Add vanilla and sugar; blend thoroughly. Pour above the crust and bake (300 degrees F) for an hour and let it cool, at about five mins.
Combine sour cream, vanilla, and sugar; mix them well. Pour above warm cake. Bake again for five more mins. Let it rest for over a night. Serve with the filling.
