Autumn Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Base:
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 cup of cracker crumbs (Graham)
3 Tablespoons of sugar (white)
1/4 cup of melted margarine
For the Body:
2 packages of cream cheese (8 oz each); softened
1/2 cup of sugar (refined)
2 pieces of eggs (large)
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
For the Topping:
4 cup of apples; peeled, cored, and sliced thinly
1/3 cup of sugar (refined)
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon (ground)
1/4 cup of pecans; chopped
Instructions:
Combine cinnamon, sugar, margarine, and crumbs; press firmly onto the base of a 9-inch (springform) pan. Place inside the oven and bake, (350 degrees F) for ten mins.
Combine sugar with cream cheese; beat until blended well. Add the eggs individually, while beating continuously. Add vanilla; blend thoroughly and pour mixture above the crust on the pan.
Toss cinnamon, apples, and refined sugar; spoon above the layer of cream cheese then sprinkle pecans on top. Bake, (350 degrees F) for 70 mins. Run a knife on the edges to loosen the cake. Let it cool completely before placing inside the refrigerator. Serve chilled.
