Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
Chocolate slivers
1 tsp of coffee (instant)
2 Tbsps of sugar
1 cup of whipped cream
1 cup of chips (chocolate, semi-sweet)
1 Tbsp vanilla essence
1 cup of Irish cream (Bailey’s)
5 whole eggs
1 & 2/3 cup of sugar
2 & 1/4 lb of cream cheese
6 Tbsps of butter that has been melted
1/4 cup of sugar
2 cups cracker (Graham); crumbled
Instructions:
Preset oven (325 degrees F). Mix together crumbs, butter and one fourth cup of your sugar. Press onto bottom of pan that has a removable bottom.
Bake for ten minutes until nicely browned. Cream the cheese, eggs then sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add the vanilla and Bailey’s.
Sprinkle one part your chocolate slivers on crust then pour the pie filling. Layer in rest of your chocolate slivers. Decant the cheese mixture and then bake for an hour twenty minutes.
Allow to cool to room temperature. Whisk the whipped cream, coffee and sugar until soft peaks are formed. Spread over chilled cheesecake. Top with more chocolate slivers.
