Auntie Babe’s Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
1-2/3 cups of cracker crumbs (Graham)
1-1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon (ground)
2 Tablespoons of sugar (refined)
6 Tablespoons of melted butter
For the Filling:
3 pieces of eggs (beaten well)
1 cup of sugar (refined)
24 ounces of softened cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
For the Topping:
3 Tablespoons of sugar (refined)
1 pint of sour cream
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
Instructions:
Combine crumbs, cinnamon, melted butter, and sugar; press firmly onto the sides and base of the pan. Set aside.
Beat the cream cheese till smoothened. Slowly add the sugar then add the eggs individually, while beating continuously. Add the vanilla then mix thoroughly.
Pour onto the pan above the crust. Bake (375 degrees F) for twenty-five mins. Take out from the oven then spread the topping on top.
To make the topping, beat sourcream then add refined sugar then vanilla; spread above the cake. Bake again (500 degrees F) for five mins. Let it cool then place inside the refrigerator for twenty-four hrs.
