Tuscan Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of crumbs (plain)
1 Tbsp of butter
2 2/3 ozs of Grand Mariner
Zest of two lemons
Zest of two oranges
1 cup of milk
8 whole eggs
3 lbs of cheese (Ricotta)
2 cups of sugar
Instructions:
Preset oven to 350 degrees F. Cream the ricotta and sugar ’till smooth in texture. Beat in eggs whisking each egg thoroughly.
Blend in the milk. Fold the zests in and add the Grand Mariner. Combine everything thoroughly.
Decant ricotta mixture onto a springform pan that has been greased and coated with crumbs. Pour about three fourths full.
Place the pan inside a lager roasting dish containing water filled half way up. Pop in the oven for an hour and twenty five minutes.
Turn off oven, leave the cheesecake inside to stand an hour. Take off from oven and place inside the fridge to cool before serving.
