Black Forest Cheesecake Delight Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of wafer crumbs (chocolate)
3 Tablespoons of melted margarine
16 ounces of softened cream cheese
2/3 cups of sugar (refined)
2 pieces of eggs (large)
6 ounces of melted chocolate morsels (semisweet)
1/4 teaspoons of almond flavoring (extract)
21 ounces of pie filling (cherry, canned)
Whipped topping (frozen); thawed
Instructions:
Combine margarine and crumbs; press firmly into the base of a 9-inch (springform) pan then bake (350 degrees F) for 10 mins.
Combine sugar and cream cheese; beat moderately till blended well. Add the eggs individually, while beating continuously. Add extract and semisweet chocolate; blend thoroughly. pour onto the crust.
Place inside the oven and bake (350 degrees F) for 45 mins. Run a knife around the edges to loosen the cake. Let cake cool then remove the rim. Place inside the refrigerator till chilled.
Spread the filling top then top the thawed topping. Serve.
