Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
8-1/2 ounces of wafers (chocolate);crushed finely
1/2 cup of melted butter
12 ounces of chocolate morsels (semisweet)
1-1/2 cups of cream (heavy)
16 ounces of softened cream cheese
1/4 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 cup of whipped cream (heavy)
4 pieces of eggs (large)
Instructions:
Combine butter and crumbs; press firmly on a 9-inch (springform) pan. Place inside the refrigerator to be chilled. Preheat the oven (325 degrees F).
Combine morsels, cream, and (hot) water; stir till smooth and morsels have melted. Combine sugar and cream cheese; beat thoroughly till creamy and smooth.
Add the eggs individually, while beating continuously; add vanilla and the mixture of chocolate then mix till blended well. Pour onto the crust.
Place inside preheated oven and bake for an hour. Turn off the oven and slightly open the door, let the cake rest inside for an hour.
Take out form the oven and let it completely cool. Place inside the refrigerator for twenty-four hours.
Pipe the whipped heavy cream on top edge. Serve.
