Easy Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
Juice from half a lemon
16 ozs soured cream
1/4 cup of butter; melted
3 Tbsps of flour
3 Tbsps of cornstarch
1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
4 whole eggs
1&1/2 cup of sugar
16 ozs cream cheese (room temperature)
16 ozs Ricotta cheese
Instructions:
Cream the two cheeses and the sugar. Next, beat the eggs in the cheese mixture, whisking each egg thoroughly. Add the lime juice.
Stir together. Next add the cornstarch, vanilla, butter and flour. Stir everything constantly. Fold the soured cream in and then decant cheese mixture onto a greased ten inch pie baking dish with removable bottom.
Pop in the oven then bake for an hour (325 degrees F). When finished, don’t take out cake from the oven to cool to room temperature. Take cake outside, wrap in cling wrap then put in the fridge to chill.
Best if served chilled.
